The capless design is intentional. Less plastic, less waste, one-handed use. Grip it, rip the top, squeeze and drink. Nothing to lose or fumble with between reps. And no, it won't leak. The self-sealing valve keeps it spill-resistant in a gym bag or car cup holder.
Refrigerate it, yes. Freeze it, no. The pack is designed to flex and squeeze, and freezing compromises that. Chill it and it is ready when you are.
